It's been just over a year since we started the challenge grant fundraising and through your generosity we've raised $501,784 allowing us to obtain another $500,000 in matching funds! Combining this campaign with prior funds we have raised over $1,250,000 with which to buy a permanent house for Jeremiah's Promise.
In early 2003 Jeremiah's Promise opened its doors on a shoestring, with a handful of dedicated volunteers and donations enough to pay first and last months' rent on a house -- a home and learning center for five emancipating foster youth. Since then our community has brought us a long way.
All of our generous donors have now made this home possible - a home where girls can live for two years, attending college, working with mentors, learning life skills and a savings program. It's not only an investment in a home for our girls, its also an investment in their futures.
We've reached our goal, but please keep Jeremiah's Promise in your thoughts and giving plans! We always need program funding, and there will certainly be additional house expenses. Your tax-deductible contributions are always vital and appreciated, as we help forge a better future for foster teens!
Thank you,
Kim Golter, Executive Director
