Current Funding Initiatives
The foundation is currently working with grantees in the counties of Los Angeles and Santa Clara, California.
Grantmaking:
The foundation has increased its overall grantmaking to support nonprofit education service providers in 2010 and 2011, in response to the increased demands on the sector during the economic downturn and recovery.
The foundation provides grants for program support, as well as grants to support capacity building, fundraising stimulus, and organizational effectiveness, which strengthen and invest meaningfully in our partners.
We are also administering service grants, pro-bono consulting, and technical assistance, which leverage the impact of our funding. We collaborate with grant recipients and other funders, and identify and share best practices in education and collaborative impact in our communities.
We are not, at this time, accepting unsolicited proposals.
We will, however, be inviting proposals, on a rolling basis, selected from the updates and inquiries that current and past grant recipients submit, as well as based on letters of introduction submitted online by those who may be new to the foundation.
